The Rolls Surrette S1400EX (S-1400EX) deep cycle batteries feature the same thick plates as the
Rolls 5000 series batteries. This provides a higher lifespan usually found in industrial size batterr
ies but in a much smaller and familiar L-16 (L16) group size. The model S1400EX (S-1400EX)
is a 2 Volt battery with a capacity of 1,408 amp Hrs. @100 Hr. rate or 1,000 amp Hrs. @20 Hr.
rate. The model S1400EX (S-1400EX) is unsurpassed in reliability. Connections are easy due to
the thick lead alloy flag terminals for 5/16 in. bolts. The battery is packaged in a lightweight
structural molded container with lifting rope handles.
The warranty for the Rolls S-1400EX (S1400EX) battery is seven (7) years. The first 36 months
are full replacement. The next 48 months are prorated.
For a single string 1,408 AH battery bank, you will need 6 of the S-1400EX (S1400EX) for a 12
volt system, 12 of the S-1400EX (S1400EX) for a 24 volt system and 24 of the S-1400EX
(S1400EX) for a 48 volt system. Each additional string will multiply the AH capacity.
